Our Theme for the 2011 Fernley 4th of July Celebration is:
"Let Freedom Ring"
The Fernley 4th of July celebration is an annual event put on by a group of volunteers committed to celebrating our Nation the Old Fashioned Way.
Starting in August with new officers voted in, we start planning the events for next year's celebration. The celebration starts with a pancake breakfast (new this year! Click Here! for more information), a parade down Main St., and then continues with a full day of events at the Out-Of-Town park including, vendor booths, great food, live music, a show and shine car show, an all new Horseshoe Tournament, and lots of fun and games for adults and children alike (like the annual greased pig contest).
The day ends with a beautiful and awe inspiring fireworks show.
Additional volunteers are always needed,
